The Moscow Times, which is not Russian media, is cited in the fifth paragraph down in the Daily Mail piece.

it is not any official outlet and often wrong, but I appreciate that you pointed that out

It is an extremely anti-Russian paper that pretends to be a Russian newspaper. Run by Russophobes in the West and maybe by exiled Russian opposition. I avoid it like the plague.

According to Wikipedia, The Moscow Times is published in Amsterdam and is online only. It is censored in Russia. The Wikipedia article gives the history.

The dying continues every day. The destruction continues every day. No one is winning and everyone is losing. Time to negotiate a settlement otherwise death and destruction will continue. We have had enough of endless wars. US hands are not clean and the US Deep State - the US State Department, in particular - has interfered in the internal affairs of Ukraine and that interference has led to death and destruction. A disaster that could have been avoided and can be ended by compromise.

Only Donald Trump seems to have any interest in ending this "endless war".

"Do you want Ukraine to win this war?" asked CNN's Kaitlan Collins at one point during a broader discussion of how Donald Trump would handle the now 15-month-old NATO/USA proxy war in Ukraine if he returns to the Oval Office.

Donald Trump said: "I don't think in terms of winning and losing,". "I think in terms of getting it settled so we stop killing all these people.... "I want everybody to stop dying. They're dying. Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying."

Unfortunately Trump's position is not supported by Republicans except for a bare few.

Right you are. That is why your posts are so important. I do NOT read you as partisan or with any agenda. Mark Wauk cites you with regularity. Your report of European view is critically important.

The Media is suppressing the bad news, even Fox. Tucker Carlson is speaking out as is Glenn Greenwald and others on both Right and Left (to the extent those words have any meaning). The US involvement in the 2014 Maiden Coup is little known. A history lesson would be useful. It is difficult to think the coup was spontaneous expression of popular will.

Who do you believe?

Hindustan times or Dailykos/denis Davydov?

We will know in 6 weeks if the Russian front collapses or the Ukrainian offensive will evaporate.

why six weeks?

If davydov is correct, a large Russian force is being cut off around Bakhmut. It will take several weeks for this to unfold.

If Hindustan times correct, Ukrainian losses so great that their offensive will collapse in a few weeks

Army General Gerasimov was shown today (Monday June 10th) on Russian State TV 60 Minutes programme in Russian Armed Forces General Staff HQ receiving status reports from his subordinates. This Purge issue is fake news. Moscow Times used to be good local newspaper aimed for expats working in Moscow. Nowadays it’s just Western MSM propanganda sewer.

" Purge" is a word with special connotations in Russian history. A neutral term would be "replaced" or "fired". Demonizing Vladimir Putin more than necessary fuels the unnecessary war of death and destruction.

I am not sure what you mean. There are many Trump supporters who are well aware of Ukraine disaster. Tucker Carlson speaks of it. Mark Wauck has detailed information. The Democrats and NeoCons in the Deep State with assistance from Biden Administration are keeping this war to the detriment of everyone. There is no end in sight.

hi robert - i am not an american... i see much of the info in the western msm as propaganda.. choice of words is an important part of that.. that's all.. the usa has a history of demonizing leaders that don't follow the usa's agenda.. the list is too long to give here..

You are correct. I would say all the broadcast media, which is aligned with the Democratic Party and the Deep State, routinely omits material facts and frames issues to advance their policies. Propaganda is a word that can be used to describe that.

In addition, you may have read of the recent case detailing the Democrats conspiracy to suppress information that did not advance its agenda. Here is one article and you can find many more in conservative Media. Democratic and UniParty/Deep State Media have suppressed reporting on this story.

The suppression of facts and history of the US proxy war in Ukraine is, to my mind, the worst deception because so many are dying and suffering as a result of the decisions of a few.

it is sad we have descended to such behavior

More than sad. As important are the issues of immigration and inflation and crime and so many others, the endless wars are the most critical. We get out of Afghanistan and onto Ukraine. There are malevolent people manipulating US policy and only Donald Trump seems able or willing to stand up to the war profiteers and megolomaniac idealogues.

the act of omission is an important part of the propaganda process.. it's critical in fact!! if we heard what the other side was thinking, it would interfere radically with the propaganda process.. thus we only hear from one side in so much of the propaganda we are given..

Exactly Mattias Desmet makes a point about censorship. He speaks specifically about hearing the Russian point of view. He cites Noam Chomsky with approval. Desmet is NOT a Left Winger in any way but there is an area of agreement where anyone who is looking can see what there is to be seen.

nato was a way of cutting off europe from russia, just as blowing up nordstream was a way of cutting off germany from russian energy... the difference is the measures have become more extreme, as the usa struggles to maintain its unipolar viewpoint.. and of course more and more people are waking up to the fact too.. nato is a security deal for the arms industry... it has worked well in this regard and a rewarding bonanza is on display at present.. as for europes security - clearly nato interferes in it directly! but none of the european politicians dare say this out of fear of the consequences from big brother and his machine in washington/london... people will eventually wake up... of that i pray..
