I have no confirmation but it appears Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarus President, has cooked a deal with Prigozhin and his forces have turned around from Moscow and (probably) are heading back to their base which is along the Ukraine border.
It is known that Putin was in conversations by telephone with Lukashenko earlier today.
According to the reports, Wagner will continue its role supporting the Russian army in the Special Military Operation.
One presumes that the criminal case on Prigozhin will be dropped, but that has yet to be declared.
There are many unanswered questions if the above report is correct. The threat to Putin and Moscow has now ended.
Russians are very fine chess masters and strategist.
Iny my humble opinion, this could be the finest maskirovka ever conceived.
I would not be surprised if an offensive (possibly on Kharkov) is started soon, within the next few days, if not even tonight! Time will tell.
Diversionary tactics? Let the Ukrainians be lulled into thinking the war is over and/or turning in their favor due to a Russian civil war whilst Russian troops move into position for attack?
