It is very tragic that Druze children lost their lives during Hezbollah's fight to liberate the illegally occupied Golan Heights (possibly due to falling debris from the Israeli occupiers' missile defense systems?). It is doubly tragic because the Druze don't even want to be part of Israel – their legitimate territory is unfortunately occupied by Zionist settlers – they come to terms with the occupiers because they themselves are not militant. I am also not in favor of comparing the death toll, especially children's, against each other. Have you any direct knowledge of the Druze communities in Israel and in Golan? If so you firstly know I suppose that in 1948 Druze leaders agreed for its youth to be conscripted into the IDF and have done so ever since, serving extremely well and some reaching high rank. The community itself has been found to be loyal to the state, has well educated children and has steadily prospered and integrated well.
After the Golan heights were seized in 19657 there was a reluctance to integrate or accepot Israeli nationality. The community having relatives on the Syrian side were not sure if the land might be returned foir one reason or another. Over time relations with Israeli Jews progressed but nationality take up was low. The Syrian Civil war changed their attitude & perception. They became more prosperous and less entrenched. To day the number of younger Druze taking Israeli nationality has risen greatly. They too are as bright as their Druze Israeli counterparts and now speak Hebrew and are found in all forms of employmet.I have heard the same excuse for the Hezbollah missile hit on the Drtuze football pitch. Yet no evidence has ever been produced and Hezbollah, like Iran now, shoots missiles in all directions without any attention.

We observe the same thing now in the UK. The popular Daily Mail comments sections seems to fascinate an attract similar comments from an American audience . Invariable they follow a similar perverted mindset & reasoning.
However, their argument is simple to see through. If it were only attacks on Synagogues they might have a point. However as seen in the article such attacks happend at Churches too. Steven raises the New Orleans main street attack. There have been others in Nice, France , several in German & French town & cities often at Christmas time nearly all having an Islamic connection.. These obviously involved the attendance of people of all faiths. As we know terrorism predates the 1948 Srate of Israel so one can discount the antisemitic trope arguments of "it's all the Jews fault".
Relating to bollards which is a subject dear to me. Currently I am in SW France and note the best protected public places are the larger supermarkets and entrances to shopping malls ! I note elsewhere a distinct reluctance of public authorities to spend enough money, and as Stephen raisd, the installation must be not random and after the the area has been surveyed & tested.
