We Hungarians are happy about all foreign (peaceful) relations with all foreign countries that strengthen our country ! We must not forget that we have never been happy about foreign ambassadors interfering in the life and internal politics of our country in a commanding tone, who, considering themselves imperial governors, criticize our country daily, as Mr. (Mrs?) Pressman does, the US ambassador, and what, for example, the Chinese ambassador does never committed ! Somehow we are also not happy when the USA intervenes with millions of dollars in the election of our government, we Hungarians strangely like to elect ourself our own government, here dead people will not interfere in our election, as happened in some countries !

China will be building an electric car plant in Europe, utilizing European labor. Oh, the delicious irony! What goes around comes around, and the Chinese are wise enough to not only know, but bet on that.

Thanks for this update. I get why these states would now want to hedge their economic bets with another world power besides the US given the sanctions that were slapped on Russia causing Germany to lose its cheap LNG. However, given the recent slow-walking of military aid to Israel, do you think that China is also looking to get into the business of supplying military aid for countries that are wondering if they could be next when it comes to being denied arms by the US due to policy differences?

The US is in slow walking anything. Any babbling is strictly for public consumption at election time. The US unequivocally will support Israel's Lebensraum– Final Solution program in Gaza
