The Russians ought to make it perfectly clear that any individual involved in this type of shenanigan will not be able to hide anywhere in the world, nor will their families, and they'll be hunted down like Wael Zwaiter, et al.
No. The western media have done nothing but describe alleged Russian threats that then don't materialize.
Putin says that any nuclear power including Russia will use nuclear weapons if subjected to an existential threat. The Western media (and probably you) then claim something like the Kursk border raid is an existential threat to Russia but ....look Russia didn't do anything but slowly wipe out the invaders. Yet still no nukes. Another empty threat. ---- Ukraine hits one of dozens of crude export terminals with a drone, knocks it offline for a couple of days and still no nukes, another empty threat .......
The problem with such nonsense is that if Ukraine finally succeeds in its efforts to blow up a nuclear facility inside Russia that *will* be seen as an existential threat by the Russians. And they will actually drop a tactical nuke or two where they think it is appropriate. Maybe Lithuania for example.
They won't and certainly don't want to. They are no where near any capability to do that without further gutting their own defense. Speaking of which, they would be a target. Big target.
This kind of threat is part of Kiev's perennial drama queen act. That and shutting off gas transit to Europe. They do it from time to time when they feel neglected by the Western sponsors.
Sort-of loses its shock value after a while. The "10000 North Koreans" is better, that really scares the pants off the NATO guys
Given the mandate Trump has been handed to end this war as he promises, I wonder if even the Biden regime is depraved enough to directly deploy US forces to Ukraine with no greater motive than complicating Trump's play. As one commenter says, "justification will be manufactured as needed."
Thanks for the info, Stephen. Do you happen to know if there is a plan in place whereby the US would eliminate any Ukrainian that tried to take the conflict to the nuclear level? It seems as though something like that would be necessary to avoid having the US/NATO dragged into a nuclear conflict by any ally.

LOL, since Russia has done nothing but make idle trheats since the beginning of this war, I don't think that will scare anyone.

Go back to every escalation so far. Russian officials (not "western MSM") promise repercussions that never come.
How destroyed does Ukraine have to be before you acknowledge that there are some pretty serious repercussions going on there?
Since those repercussions never hit the people who run things, they do not care.
There is no way to draw in the NATO.
If they use a dirty bomb, Washington would suddenly have a very good reason to jettison the Ukraine.
Unless it's done as a false flag operation to blame the Russians.
NATO will get involved if and to the extent it wishes to. A justification will be manufactured as needed.
They won't and certainly don't want to. They are no where near any capability to do that without further gutting their own defense. Speaking of which, they would be a target. Big target.
We heard that at every escalation to date. NATO escalates all the same.
This has long been an entirely predictable result of Russian waffling and indecision.
What does anyone propose to do about it?
I wonder what the Russians' response would be if Ukraine detonated a dirty bomb in a Russian city. any ideas?
you would not want to be in Ukraine if that happened.
i suppose so

Ww3 is here. Thank you Biden. Thank you security State. See what voting for Biden got you! There is collective guilt on your heads .

I do not think Biden will deploy US troops to Ukraine for the simple reason he cannot do so without triggering war in europe.

I don't know of any plan.
Why? Ukraine does nothing that its American Master does not approve.
While Ukraine vs Russia is a gigantic mess,
It will be interesting to see if Iran vs Israel goes off at the same time Ukraine vs Russia goes nuclear.
Not the we can do much about it,
But that still seems t o be t he plan
